Before We Begin

1. What VentaFren Is (and Is Not)

VentaFren is a conversational platform that connects people for conversation, companionship, and general support.

VentaFren does not provide:

• Medical services
• Mental health services, therapy, or counseling
• Legal or financial advice
• Crisis intervention

Frens are independent third parties, not licensed professionals, and conversations on VentaFren are not therapy or professional services.

2. Safety, Monitoring & Moderation

To maintain safety and platform integrity:

• Conversations may be recorded, transcribed, and reviewed
• Automated and human moderation may be used
• Content may be analyzed to enforce platform rules

3. User Conduct

Users must interact respectfully and responsibly.

The following behavior is prohibited:

• Harassment, hate speech, or threats
• Sexual, explicit, or exploitative content
• Encouraging self-harm, violence, or illegal activity
• Manipulation, coercion, or emotional exploitation
• Attempts to move conversations off the Platform

4. User Enforcement

If a user engages in inappropriate language or conduct:

• The account may be immediately and permanently terminated
• Access to the Platform will be revoked indefinitely
• Re-registration will not be permitted
• No refunds will be issued, and credits will not be provided except as described in these Terms (including the Fren Arrival & User Credit Policy) or where required by law

Terminations for serious misconduct are final.

5. Payments & Session Timing

Prices are shown before purchase.

All purchases are final except where required by law.

Charged at Booking

When you book a session, your payment is processed immediately to reserve your Fren's time. By confirming a booking, you authorize VentaFren to charge your payment method on file.

User Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a session for a full session credit if you cancel 10 or more minutes before the scheduled start time. Credits expire in 90 days and can be used to book any future session.

Cancellations made less than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time are non-refundable, and no credit will be issued. Your Fren has already reserved this time for you and will be paid regardless.

User Timing Responsibility

Users are responsible for joining sessions on time. If you do not join within 15 minutes of the start time, the session will be marked as a no-show. No refund and no credit will be issued for user no-shows. Your Fren is still paid for the reserved time.

Fren Arrival & User Credit Policy

To ensure fairness and respect for everyone's time, VentaFren applies the following session timing policy:

If a Fren does not join a scheduled session within 5 minutes of the start time, the session will be automatically canceled, and the user will receive a full session credit to book another session at no additional cost.

Credits are issued automatically and do not require user action.

This policy exists to honor users' time and ensure sessions feel reliable, respectful, and supportive.

6. Privacy Notice (Summary)

VentaFren collects and processes data to:

• Operate and improve the Platform
• Facilitate conversations
• Process payments
• Maintain safety and moderation
• Comply with legal obligations

Conversation data may be stored and reviewed for safety and compliance.

VentaFren does not sell personal data.

7. Limitation of Liability

VentaFren is not responsible for outcomes of conversations, emotional distress, or reliance on information shared through the Platform.

Use of the Platform is at your own discretion and risk.

8. Acceptance

By selecting "I Agree", you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms
• You acknowledge the Privacy Notice
• You understand VentaFren is not a therapy or crisis service
• You agree to comply with all Platform rules
